TRAFFIC CONTROL ROAD WORK SIGNING AND SAFETY COURSE – VIC
This one day course fulfils the training requirements of a Traffic Controller who is responsible for the implementation of traffic control devices and control and management of traffic at a road work, construction or event location to maintain traffic network flow whilst ensuring the safety of workers, the public and or event participants. This course is also offered as refresher training to meet the requirements of the Road Management Act Worksite Safety Traffic Management Code of Practice.

The duration of this training course is one day of theory and assessment for initial students and six hours training for refresher students. This course requires attendance and participation in a training program delivered by one of our qualified trainers. The course will be delivered entirely face to face and includes a mix of theory with individual and group activities for the competency assessments.
There are no defined course prerequisites. Students must be able to read and understand the English language and be able to undertake some basic arithmetic.
Successful students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the two competencies undertaken. A wallet sized card with a photograph will be issued to all successful students deemed to be competent.
