TRAFFIC CONTROL ROAD WORK SIGNING AND SAFETY COURSE – NORTHERN TERRITORY
This course fulfils the requirements for WZ2 & WZ3 NT
This two day course conducted in the Northern Territory fulfils the training requirements of a Traffic Controller who is responsible for the implementation of traffic control devices and control and management of traffic at a road work, construction or event location to maintain traffic network flow whilst ensuring the safety of workers, the public and or event participants in the Northern Territory. This course is also offered as refresher training to meet the requirements of the Permit to Work Within NT Government Road Reserves.

The duration of this training course is for two days of theory and assessment for initial students and eight hours training for refresher courses. This course requires attendance and participation in a training program delivered by one of our qualified trainers. The course will be delivered entirely face to face and will include a mix of theory with individual and group activities for the competency assessments.
There are no defined course prerequisites. Students must be able to read and understand the English language and be able to undertake some basic arithmetic.
Successful students will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for the two competencies undertaken. A wallet sized card, with photograph, together with a parchment statement will be issued to all successful students deemed to be competent which can be used to make application at the NT Motor Vehicle Registry for the WZ2 and WZ3 accreditation.
